One job, one counter
Every unit has one clear role and one clear answer. A player looking at any unit knows when to buy it.
Independent game studio
Tactus Games makes real-time strategy for Roblox. Our first game, Commanders, brings modern warfare RTS to the platform's mobile and PC players: easy to learn, hard to master.
Our first game
A modern-military RTS for Roblox. Grab deposits, build an army of infantry, armor and air power, and destroy the enemy HQ.
Strategy is one of the biggest genres in gaming, yet the modern RTS space on Roblox is nearly empty. Commanders is built for the platform from day one: ten-minute matches, one resource, a server-authoritative simulation built for large armies, and controls designed for phones as a first-class target, not an afterthought.
Engineers build mines on fixed deposits. More mines mean more income, and a thinner army.
Spend now on units, or on research that unlocks tanks, artillery, jets and drill vehicles.
Raid mines, read the enemy's research and counter it. Land or air: two styles, both can win.
Destroy the enemy HQ. Earn XP and credits, then queue for the next match.
Every unit has one clear role and one clear answer. A player looking at any unit knows when to buy it.
No hidden stat upgrades. Research unlocks whole units, and the opponent can see it coming.
Counters are taught by in-match feedback and the unit card's numbers, not outside wikis.
Money buys looks or time, never power. Nothing bought changes a match.
A tight launch scope, then seasons: new maps, ranked play, new modes and factions.
The army
Infantry, armor and air, each with a clear counter. All models are original low-poly art, tuned to stay smooth with large armies on phones.
How we build
Tactus Games is a solo founder working with a team of AI agents. The founder owns the vision and every design decision; Claude does the building.
A living game design document of 170 numbered rules is the single source of truth. Claude Code reads it, writes the game in Luau, builds and rigs the 3D models in Blender with Python, lays out the maps, uploads the assets to Roblox and tests in Studio, step by step, with the founder approving every phase.
That loop lets one person ship at the pace of a small studio: Commanders' first commit landed in October 2026, and it already has every unit, six maps and a 3D lobby.
The founder decides; the rule goes into the design doc with an ID.
Claude writes the code and config, citing the rule IDs.
Models, rigs, poses and maps generated in headless Blender.
Type check, then a play test in Roblox Studio with screenshots.
The founder plays it, approves, and the next step starts.
